Inspired by the Brazilian volleyball shoes of the 1970s, VEJA reissues the Volley, its first model launched in 2005.
Upper: O.T. (Organic Traced) leather Panels: O.T. (Organic Traced) leather & Suede Insole: Amazonian rubber (11%), bio-based E.V.A. (45%, including 36% sugar cane), recycled E.V.A. (13%), organic cotton (5%) and others (26%) Outsole: Amazonian rubber (40%), mineral silica (23%), recycled rubber (10%), synthetic rubber (11%) and others (16%) Lining: Recycled polyester (100%) Laces: Organic cotton (100%) Made in Brazil
The O.T. (Organic Traced) leather comes from 100% certified organic farms in Uruguay, a country renowned for its cattle farming and the quality of its leather. It is our softest and finest leather. It is mechanically beaten to make it softer and finer, and then tanned in Brazil using fewer dyes than conventional leather. VEJA uses dyes that comply with regulations and ensures that minimal water is used during the tanning process.
